Another illegal dental office shut down

Thee separate investigations conducted the the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia have resulted in the shutdown of three illegal dental offices. This is great news for members of the public, who can be exposed to significant risk at the hands of these uncertified practitioners.

On another positive note, the equipment seized in the process is being put to good use by being donated to local free or low-cost dental clinics that serve individuals in need.

Beware Of Unlicensed "Dentists"

The consequences of practising dentistry illegally can be severe not only for those performing the dentistry, but for the individuals receiving it as well.

A New York State man developed a serious tooth infection after visiting an unlicensed Toronto Dentist. The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario is doing its best to shut down such unlicensed offices, but the public must also be on high alert. Some may feel that they can benefit from the financial savings of visiting an unlicensed dentist but almost always, they will pay the price in the end... both financially and by compromising their own health and wellbeing.
