DR. STEVEN DESKIN
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Deskin also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Toronto. He takes great pride in bringing the highest levels of professionalism, caring and dedication to each and every patient he treats.
While he offers a wide array of general and cosmetic dentistry procedures and options to his patients at Brantford North Dental, Dr. Deskin is especially passionate about his work within orthodontics. Having been trained and mentored by some of the world's most highly regarded orthodontists and experts in orthodontics, Dr. Deskin has completed extensive coursework across Canada and the US in both functional orthodontics (using primarily retainer-like appliances) and traditional orthodontics (using wire braces), as well as becoming certified as an Invisalign provider. Dr. Deskin’s ongoing pursuit of advanced education in orthodontics continues to enrich his professional practice and enables him to offer patients an alternate, often less expensive option to an orthodontist.
On a personal note, Dr. Deskin and his wife, Brenda, are the proud parents of two young boys. Both parents are devoted to the advancement of autism treatment and awareness, having been personally impacted by this neurological disorder.
In his spare time, Dr. Deskin enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, skiing and gardening. He is keenly interested in computers and technology, and enjoys applying his knowledge in these areas to the ongoing advancement of his dental practice.
